The first 7 months of 2023 have gone by in a blur! In February, I had the pleasure of doing my first reading of the year to a delightful grade 3 class at Twenty Valley Public School. We read Sir Archibald Droolsalot – Big Dog Drools and Puppy Dog Drools.
During March break I was a visiting author, reading and signing purchased books at Chapters/Indigo at Burlington Mall. It was such a delight to meet all the young readers.
Saturday, May 20th, saw me at Coles Book store at the Pen Centre, St. Catharine’s. Many incredible people showed up, eager to learn about the books and buy them. 😊
Something new is happening this year. I am reading my books at The Ex at the CNE! This year they have a Storybook Nook for under 10-year-olds. Children visiting The Ex will get to hear stories from several local authors. I’m excited about August 29th and looking forward to seeing many of you. I will read at 1pm and 2:30pm. Let’s go to The Ex!!
This summer, I am also at the Niagara on the Lake, Farmer’s Market selling all three books. It has been a lot of fun, great stall holders and wonderful people chatting about the books and taking them home for their children and grandchildren. The Market runs until Thanksgiving weekend.
This year has been exceptional so far. I am looking forward to the next few months.
