An Amazing 2021!

What an amazing time I have had so far this year! Since February 23rd through until July 8th, I did a total of 24 virtual readings to students in schools around Ontario; one Podcast for Burlington Humane Society and I was Guest Speaker to their Kids Club about “My Journey as an Author”!

I feel so blessed to have shared the Sir Archibald Droolsalot stories with so many students.  They were all really full of interest, questions and comments – it was absolutely amazing and genuinely meaningful to me as an author.

Thank you to all the many students who have listened to the stories, given their feedback and compliments and shared with me stories of their own dogs, cats and writings.

The biggest thank you of all goes to the teachers who organized the times and dates for the readings and who take such an interest in their students.  They are truly dedicated.

I am also honored to be partnered with Burlington Humane Society and Lincoln County Humane Society.  I give a donation for all books sold through their connection – so anyone who emails me and makes a note in their request of either of these Humane Societies is helping to rescue furry friends.  Archie definitely approves!

An especially huge thrill was getting the Canadian Book Award for all three books – amazing!  This was followed by seeing my first 2 books in store at Chapters/Indigo in St. Catharine’s.  Getting books into a “bricks and mortar” store is difficult when you are not with a traditional publishing house; therefore I feel really fortunate to see my books at Chapters; The Old Niagara Bookshop and Cool As A Moose.
